Download Medeek Foundation Plugin for SketchUp

Nathaniel P. Wilkerson has developed Medeek Foundation Plugin for sketchup. This SketchUp Plugin contains a user-friendly interface for generating perfect 3D foundation and footing geometry inside sketchup.
This plugin employs the SketchUp Ruby API programming interface. The plugin supports the up-to-date SketchUp releases (SketchUp Make 2016 64-bit and SketchUp Pro 2016 64-bit) together with earlier versions (2013, 2014, 2015).
Presently, the plugin facilitates the development of the types of foundation given below (Metric and US/Imperial):
• Slab on Grade (Rectangle,Polygon) [with garage curb and internal footing options] • Stemwall (Rectangle) [with brick ledge and internal footing/floor beam options] Footing types: • (Under Construction) Engineering (US/Imperial): • (Under Construction) [ACI 318-14 Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete]
By applying industry standard practices, all the foundation types are drawn/designed. Supplimentary foundation types and footings are in the way of being included together with the supplementary features like reinforcing bar.
The users can utilize this plugin to generate either a rectangular or irregular (polygon) shaped foundation plan. If you select the rectangular foundation, the outline can be described by just choosing three points which create the bounding rectangle (bldg. width x bldg. length) of the foundation.
The Medeek Foundation Plugin facilitates the users to perfectly illustrate standard concrete foundations, footings and flatwork inside SketchUp and substantiate their architectural models in a superior way.
Engineering: In future, the foundation plugin, will be incorporated with the Medeek Footing Calculator and deliver engineering data for particular common footing types.
